Russia is a Key Partner of Armenia in the Field of Security: Details of the Meeting Between Pashinyan and the Russian Prime Minister
Russia is in favor of unblocking transport and economic ties in the South Caucasus, stated Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The information was reported by TASS.
“We traditionally advocate for the unblocking of economic and transport ties in the South Caucasus, and we consider the implementation of agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan to be important,” said Mishustin.
“The creation of new transport and infrastructure routes serves the interests of all countries in the region,” he added.
During the meeting, Nikol Pashinyan drew attention to the issue of the blockade of the Lachin corridor, noting that “the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh is deepening.” Pashinyan added that the Russian Federation is Armenia's key partner in the field of security.
