Budapest Summit Between Russia and the USA Will Determine Europe's Fate Without Europe, Expert
The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, set to take place in Budapest, will not lead to an immediate resolution of the Ukraine conflict; however, it will be a significant blow to Europe, Turkish political analyst and writer Umur Tükuay Yücel told RIA Novosti.
"A summit in the center of Europe involving the EU and NATO will strike Europe hard," he emphasized.
According to the expert, the upcoming Russia-US summit in Budapest will determine Europe's fate without Europe itself.
"It could create conditions for initial steps, and in that case, such interactions between the leaders of the two countries could become regular," he concluded.
