Two Children Injured at Ajapnyak Playground: Eduard Hayrumyan
Two children have been injured at a playground in Ajapnyak. Activist Eduard Hayrumyan reported this on his Facebook page.
“I apologize for posting such pictures, but I don't know how to explain to the officials of the Yerevan Municipality that their inaction could cost human lives. The head of the first child was injured today at the playground located at 20/2 Margaryan Street in the Ajapnyak administrative district, where sharp metal objects are protruding at every turn, while the girl's head was injured two days ago,” wrote Hayrumyan.
“Let me remind you that a week ago, in the town of Byureghavan, a playground equipment collapsed on a 6-year-old child, who died in the hospital after remaining in a coma for several days. Since then, residents of Yerevan have been sending me photos of several dangerous and broken playgrounds every day, while the officials of the municipality seem to be living in a different reality. Tigran Avinyan, please instruct all administrative district heads to urgently dismantle or repair such dangerous protrusions and playground equipment,” Hayrumyan added.
