Mass Rally by Islamists in Hamburg Demanding Establishment of Caliphate in Germany
A massive rally by Islamists took place in Hamburg, with demands including the establishment of a caliphate in Germany. The protest was authorized by local authorities.
“With the authorities’ permission, they were demanding that Germany be transformed into an Islamist dictatorship, governed by a religious leader without rights for women, homosexuals, Christians, Jews, and dissenters,” reported Bild.
According to Bild, the organizers of the event, the "Muslim Interactive" group, are closely associated with the banned terrorist organization in Russia, "Hizb ut-Tahrir." “There must be real evidence that there will be severe disorder during the rally. Mere suspicions are not enough to prohibit a call to change the state order,” explained a police representative to reporters, addressing why the protest was not banned despite its demands.
According to federal statistics on migration and refugees, the number of Muslims in Germany exceeded 5 million as of 2021, accounting for about 6.5% of the country’s population. Most of them have roots in Turkey and with their descendants.
