We Welcome the Significance of Armenia and Azerbaijan's Step to Dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group

We appreciate your long-term commitment to the peace agenda. This was stated by the OSCE Chairperson and Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen during a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during her visit to Yerevan.

“We value your long-term commitment to the peace agenda, and I warmly welcome the significant step that has been taken in establishing peace with Azerbaijan, particularly the agreement of August 8. We have noticed Armenia's support for the peace agenda, regardless of all challenges and obstacles,” Valtonen said.

She emphasized that it is crucial to strengthen the peace process and sustain the “promising steps that have already been taken by signing the agreement and regulating relations so that peace in this region is stable.”
