Italy's Prime Minister Sued by International Criminal Court
Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has announced that she is facing a lawsuit at the International Criminal Court (ICC) for alleged complicity in genocide in the Gaza Strip, according to reports from RIA Novosti.
“I and several Italian lawmakers are being sued at the International Criminal Court for complicity in genocide. I believe there are no other accusations like this in the world or history,” she stated.
Additionally, Roberto Chingolani, the head of the leading Italian defense company Leonardo, previously denied allegations that the company is complicit in the genocide occurring in the Gaza Strip.
It is important to note that earlier, the UN International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territories published a report stating that Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip are considered genocide.
