Israeli Prime Minister's Speech Boycotted with Widespread Whistling

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced widespread whistling and a boycott during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly. This was reported by Israeli media.

At the very beginning of his speech, numerous representatives from delegations left the hall, while Netanyahu was repeatedly interrupted by shouts from the audience.

The reason for this disruption was the Israeli government's stance on the Middle East settlement and the situation in the Palestinian territories.

In his speech, Netanyahu stated that Gaza is surrounded by loudspeakers that are currently broadcasting his message from the UN session, and he addressed Israeli hostages, saying that the country would not stand down until each one of them is released.

The Israeli Prime Minister demanded that Hamas lay down its arms and comply with Israel's demands.

Netanyahu called on the international community at the UN General Assembly to immediately reinstate sanctions against Iran. “Iran has been actively developing a nuclear and ballistic missile program. The goal of that program was the destruction of Israel and threatening the United States,” said the Israeli Prime Minister.
