The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, addressed the viral photo of Health Minister Arsen Torosyan sitting at an outdoor café without a medical mask on her Facebook page.

“In response to some users' 'accusations' that Minister Arsen Torosyan is visiting a café, I would like to remind everyone that outdoor operations have been permissible since May 4 and are open to all. As seen in the photo, Minister Arsen Torosyan and his deputies are holding a discussion at an outdoor café.

I am glad that you are closely following all of the minister’s steps; it would be great if you applied the same enthusiasm in following the work accomplished over the past three months, done 24/7,” she wrote.

“By the way, the café is just a few meters away from the ministry,” she added.
