Tehran Does Not Need Nuclear Weapons, Says Ali Khamenei
Tehran does not need nuclear weapons, nor does it see a necessity for their use. This was stated by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“We do not need such weapons; we have decided to renounce them,” he said. According to him, Tehran will not yield to external pressure regarding its right to enrich uranium.
Khamenei also stated that negotiations with the United States would not benefit Tehran at this time and would only cause harm.
