Serious Car Accident on Ijevan-Noyemberyan Highway: Injuries Reported

On September 20, at 09:24, the crisis management center of the Tavush regional rescue department received a call about a traffic accident on the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway with injuries reported.

Two fire-rescue units from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ emergency situations department were dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that, near the 8th kilometer of the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway, a vehicle of the brand 'Infiniti' veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and two passengers managed to get out of the vehicle on their own and were transported to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the battery of the vehicle, closed the gas cylinder valve, and assisted in extracting two injured individuals from the car, who were subsequently hospitalized.
