Anahit Manasyan and Head of Red Cross Discuss Issues of Prisoners and Missing Persons
Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan received the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Armenia, Daphne Maren, on September 3.
The Defender praised the cooperation established between the ICRC and the Office of the Human Rights Defender in Armenia, emphasizing the importance of the organization's ongoing work.
During the meeting, several issues of mutual interest were discussed, including the rights of prisoners, missing persons, and their families. The conversation also addressed jointly implemented programs in the field of international humanitarian law.
For her part, Daphne Maren thanked the Defender for the reception and reaffirmed the ICRC's commitment to continuing cooperation.
