Baku Expects Yerevan to Fully Eliminate Territorial Demands Against Azerbaijan, Bayramov Says
Baku expects that Yerevan will change the Armenian constitution in order to sign a peace agreement. This was stated by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
“Baku anticipates that Yerevan will amend the Armenian constitution and completely eliminate territorial claims against Azerbaijan as a prerequisite for signing a peace agreement. The joint declaration signed in Washington specifically emphasizes the importance of unimpeded communication with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as an integral part of Azerbaijan,” said Bayramov.
According to him, the so-called “Trump Route,” part of which will pass through Armenia, will ensure uninterrupted communication within Azerbaijan and promote regional economic integration.
