Moscow to Discuss the 'Zangezur Corridor' Issue with Baku: Overchuk
Moscow will discuss the issue of the 'Zangezur Corridor' with Baku. This was announced by Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk. Overchuk plans to meet with the Azerbaijani side in Russia next week to discuss the unblocking of transport communications in the South Caucasus.
"I will also have a meeting with the Azerbaijani side at the end of next week. We will discuss these issues (the unblocking of transport communications in the South Caucasus) there as well. Therefore, progress is being observed," said the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.
It is worth noting that Overchuk had previously stated that Russia supports Armenia in the creation of a transport corridor called the 'Trump Way' with Azerbaijan, if Yerevan deems it necessary.
