Rainfall Will Resume, Hail Possible: Weather in Armenia
Rainfall is expected to resume in the Republic on the evening of August 9, with scattered thunderstorms projected during the nights and evenings of the 10th to the 13th. Hail is also possible.
The wind will be coming from the southwest at 2-5 m/s, with gusts increasing to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evenings of August 9-13, wind gusts are expected to reach 15-18 m/s in Armavir, and in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.
Temperatures are forecasted to gradually decrease by 4-6 degrees during the day and night from August 9-11. In Yerevan, brief rain and thunderstorms are likely in certain parts of the city on the evening of August 9, during the nights and evenings of the 10th to the 12th, and on the night of the 13th. Wind gusts of 14-18 m/s are expected during thunderstorms and in the evening hours.
