Warm Air Currents to Intensify: Abnormal Heat Expected in the Coming 10 Days
Up until August 9, there will be no change in temperature. Armenia will continue to be under the influence of a tropical warm air current wave. This was stated by the Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.
He noted that the highest temperatures will again be recorded in the Ararat Plain, the Syunik valley area, and Yerevan, reaching up to +39…+41 degrees Celsius during the daytime. It is not excluded that in some places, temperatures could rise to +42 degrees. “A significant drop in temperature, which could bring some coolness, is not forecasted for the next 10 days, as +36…+37 degrees is also considered high temperature,” Surenyan informed.
