Powerful Earthquake in Russia
An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale and with an intensity of 3 was recorded off the coast of Kamchatka at 14:57 Moscow time. This was reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), according to TASS.
According to the agency, the epicenter of the new aftershock was located 212 km away from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, in the Pacific Ocean, at a depth of about 24 km, making it one of the most unnoticed shocks since the earthquake on July 30.
It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that a powerful aftershock followed a strong earthquake in Kamchatka.
