NATO Deploys Reconnaissance Aircraft to Lithuanian Airspace
NATO has deployed several reconnaissance aircraft to Lithuanian airspace, reportedly following a report of an unmanned aerial vehicle coming from Belarus toward the Baltic republic, as reported by Delfi.lt.
According to the portal, Lithuania informed NATO about the incident at the Joint Air Operations Center, after which member states sent reconnaissance aircraft to Lithuanian airspace.
It is noteworthy that two Bombardier Challenger 650 ARTEMIS aircraft were present in Lithuanian airspace, along with a British Boeing RC-135 Rivet Joint and one aircraft from the German Air Force.
