Hungary Will Not Supply Weapons to Ukraine, Says Szijjártó
Budapest has not and will not supply weapons to Ukraine, as Hungary does not wish to become involved in this conflict. This was stated by Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, in an interview with TASS.
“Hungary is a country that has never supplied weapons to Ukraine, and we do not intend to supply weapons to Ukraine in the future either. As long as our government is in power, our aim is for Hungary to remain out of this war and not participate in it,” he said.
Szijjártó also noted that Hungary “will not allocate any financial resources to Kyiv for the supply of weapons” and does not participate in the assistance provided by NATO member states to Ukraine.
