Ruiten Threatens Countries Cooperating with Russia
NATO Secretary General Mark Ruiten has announced that India, Brazil, and China may face secondary sanctions if they continue to cooperate with Russia. This was reported by Reuters.
“Please call Vladimir Putin and tell him that he must take the negotiations around Ukraine seriously, because otherwise it will have significant repercussions for Brazil, India, and China,” commented the politician during a meeting with senators in Congress.
Ruiten also emphasized that Europe is capable of finding ways to ensure that Ukraine has the “best position” in negotiations.
Additionally, earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States would impose approximately 100% import tariffs on Russia and its trade partners if Moscow and Washington do not reach an agreement on resolving the conflict in Ukraine within 50 days.
