Trump Knows Russia Will Win: Politico
US President Donald Trump believes that Russia maintains an advantage in the conflict, despite Washington's provision of additional weapons to Kyiv. This was reported by Politico, citing an anonymous senior official from the White House.
"The President thinks Russia will win, the only question is how long it will take, although Russian armed forces are advancing slowly, they are advancing. The President just wants to stop the killings," the official added.
Other sources within Trump's administration indicate that his shift in policy towards Ukraine is a response to "Russian President Vladimir Putin's indifference to attempts to reach a peace agreement."
