Russian Foreign Ministry on Agreement Reached with Azerbaijan
The Russian embassy in Baku has confirmed that consular access has been granted for Russian citizens detained in Azerbaijan. This was reported by TASS.
"Consular access has been ensured," said the diplomatic mission. Currently, no further details have been disclosed.
It is noteworthy that earlier, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that the entry of consular staff to meet with 13 Russian nationals detained in Azerbaijan had been agreed upon.
