Armenia's Foreign Ministry on Proposal from Trump's Administration
The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to the Carnegie Foundation's publication regarding proposals made by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump concerning the unblocking of infrastructure in the South Caucasus.
In a response to an inquiry from Armenpress, the Ministry stated, "The unblocking of transportation infrastructure in the South Caucasus has been and remains a crucial priority for Armenia. As is well known, Armenia has presented its vision for regional connectivity, termed 'The Peace Crossroads,' which has already received positive feedback from several international partners. Furthermore, Armenia has proposed a number of solutions aligned with this initiative, which could be acceptable to all involved parties. Concurrently, various international partners regularly present their ideas for the resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, including the unblocking of transportation infrastructure between the two countries. Discussions are ongoing with all interested partners to achieve results that are beneficial and leverage the region's crossroads potential," the response further stated.
