Iran's Foreign Ministry Urges Citizens to Avoid Traveling to Iran
The Chinese embassy in Tehran is advising its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran for the time being, as security risks in the region remain high. This statement was released by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, according to RIA Novosti.
“Israel and Iran recently reached a ceasefire agreement, but the regional situation remains highly uncertain, and the security environment in Iran is serious and complex. The consular department of the Foreign Ministry has reminded Chinese citizens to avoid traveling to Iran at this time,” the embassy's statement read.
The embassy has advised Chinese citizens in the region to take good care of their safety, be prepared for emergencies, and avoid visiting “sensitive areas.”
