For 7 Years This Issue Has Not Been Resolved, It Will Not Be Resolved in The Next 7 Years Either: Taguhi Tovmasyan
I regularly send letters to the Ministry of Territorial Administration demanding an answer to one question: when will there be transportation in the 36 villages of Vardenis? This was stated by MP Taguhi Tovmasyan.
“Since 2019, they have been saying that work is underway, a competition will be announced, resources will be found, but the issue remains unresolved. People live outside the capital,” said the MP.
In response to the MP’s question, Deputy Minister Armen Simonian noted that competitions have been announced in the Gegharkunik region, but the winning organization has not presented all its consequences.
“I noted that for 7 years this issue has not been resolved, and it will not be resolved in the next 7 years either,” added MP Taguhi Tovmasyan.
National Assembly President Alen Simonyan intervened, adding, “He is right that there has been nothing until 2019, which means there should be nothing until 2029. I would ask to submit in writing when this issue will be resolved, who are the guilty parties and the responsible ones,” said the NA president.
