White House to Pressure Judges: Washington Post
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump plans to pressure American judges to overturn numerous rulings that hinder the implementation of the president’s agenda. This was reported by a White House spokesperson to the Washington Post.
“The government lawyers will apply pressure on the judges to eliminate dozens of blanket rulings that obstruct the president’s plans 'as quickly as possible,'” the publication states.
Trump's administration is “inspired by” a recent decision of the Supreme Court regarding federal judges' authority to limit the White House, and it plans to aggressively contest the restrictions, according to a source speaking anonymously.
“Among the administration’s priorities are restrictions related to the Department of Education and the Department of Government Efficiency, as well as a court decision halting the dissolution of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID),” the newspaper's source added.
