Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues Statement
Azerbaijan is concerned about the events currently unfolding in Israel and Iran. This was announced by the spokesperson for Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aykhan Hajizadeh, according to Azerbaijani media reports.
"We have expressed our concerns regarding the ongoing events in the region. Our embassies and consulates have not received any information about Azerbaijani citizens among the casualties and injured due to the mutual airstrikes between Israel and Iran; we are currently working in this direction," said the Azerbaijani MFA representative.
It should be noted that earlier, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs had issued a statement calling on the parties to cease military operations and resolve issues through peaceful means by conducting negotiations.
