Iraq Submits Protest Against Israel
Iraq has officially lodged a complaint with the UN Security Council regarding Israel's violation of its airspace and strikes against Iran, according to a statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs to reporters.
"The Republic of Iraq has submitted a complaint to the UN Security Council, strongly condemning the violation of Iraq's airspace by the Israeli entity and its use for conducting military assaults in the region," the ministry stated.
The message emphasized that these actions constitute a "gross violation of Iraq's sovereignty," as well as a breach of international law and the UN Charter, particularly the principles of "respect for the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs."
