Trump Orders Investigation into Documents Issued During Biden's Presidency
U.S. President Donald Trump has directed the White House legal counsel and the Attorney General to investigate the use of former President Joe Biden's autopen signature on documents related to secret agreements in presidential executive orders, according to a document from the American leader, as reported by The New York Times.
“The President’s advisor, in consultation with the Attorney General and any other relevant executive department or agency heads, shall investigate to the extent permitted by law whether certain individuals conspired to mislead the public regarding Biden's mental state and to unlawfully exercise presidential powers and duties,” the document states.
Additionally, Trump's decision mandates an investigation into when Biden's autopen was utilized for signing documents, including pardons, executive orders, presidential memoranda, or other policy decisions, and who specifically ordered the use of the autopen.
