Trump Administration Sends Proposal to Iran
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a "detailed and acceptable proposal" to Iran regarding the nuclear deal, and Tehran is expected to accept it. This was announced by White House Press Secretary Karine Levitt.
“Special envoy Steve Witkoff has sent a detailed and acceptable proposal to the Iranian regime, in their best interest to accept it,” Levitt stated in a published message.
She added that the U.S. administration would not comment on the specifics of the proposal conveyed to Tehran.
On Saturday, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that Oman had presented the details of the U.S. proposal regarding the nuclear deal to Iran. According to the Iranian minister, Tehran will respond appropriately based on national interests.
