Kyiv Delegation to Attend Russian-Ukrainian Talks, Zelensky Says
The Kyiv delegation will be present at the second round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Istanbul, scheduled for June 2. This was confirmed by Ukraine's leader, Vladimir Zelensky.
"First, a complete and unconditional ceasefire. Second, the release of prisoners. Third, the return of abducted children. And to prepare for a meeting at the highest level to establish reliable and lasting peace and guarantee security. The main issues can only be resolved by the leaders," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Zelensky noted, "Our delegation will be led by Rustem Umerov on Monday." The second round of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations is expected to take place in Istanbul on June 2.
According to Zvezda, the Russian delegation has already departed for Istanbul for the second round of talks with Ukraine.
