Zelensky Discusses Upcoming Negotiations
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his readiness to hold a trilateral meeting with Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. He assured that he is prepared to negotiate in any format, including in the Vatican, Switzerland, and other locations.
It is also worth noting that Moscow has proposed to hold the second round of negotiations with Kyiv on June 2 again in Istanbul. According to Sergey Lavrov, they are prepared to present a peace settlement memorandum to the Ukrainian delegation that includes Moscow's views on overcoming the root causes of the conflict.
Meanwhile, it is known that Kyiv has already submitted its list of conditions for resolving the conflict to Washington and Moscow. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister has called on the Russian authorities not to wait until June 2 and to provide Kyiv with the text of the memorandum. “We expect that the Russian side will not delay or obstruct the next meeting and will immediately present its proposals so that we can consider them before the new round of negotiations. The preliminary agreement was just that. Only a well-prepared meeting can yield tangible results,” stated Andriy Sibihan.
