Turkey Accuses EU of Exerting Pressure on Ukraine
The European Union is exerting pressure on Ukraine to disrupt the second round of negotiations with Russia, Turkish political analyst Serhat Latifoglu told RIA Novosti.
Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that they have reached a principled agreement on a new round of negotiations regarding Ukraine. However, there was no specific information available yet regarding the date and location of the potential second round.
Latifoglu speculated that the negotiation process will be gradual. “At each stage, the parties will attempt to develop a 'roadmap' for the separately agreed aspects of Ukrainian resolution,” the analyst noted.
