I am confident that the composition of the KP will change: Papoyan
During the conference of the "Civil Contract" party, no electoral list will be formed; we plan to adopt a new charter, a new program, and, of course, there will be new elections for the board. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, during a government briefing, referring to the party's congress scheduled for September 20.
"The process for nominations and self-nominations for board members has not begun. It will take place from July 1-19. Currently, there are no self-nominations, nor can there be any. As for whether the composition of the board of the 'Civil Contract' party will change or to what extent it will change, I am naturally confident that it will change to some extent, as this process is taking place in a purely democratic manner, just like before," he said.
Addressing the recount of the previous board election results, Papoyan emphasized that it was not a fraud but rather a recount of votes that resulted in a change. "This means that, nevertheless, the will of the voters was expressed 100 percent. It would have been different if the recount had not taken place, and it was said, well, there was no recount," he noted.
