Power Outages in Certain Areas of Yerevan Due to High-Voltage System Issues
The electric networks of Armenia report that as of 5:15 PM today, some areas of Yerevan served by the company have experienced outages due to a problem in the high-voltage transmission system not owned by the Electric Networks of Armenia.
Areas affected include Kristapori, Tpygrichneri, Tolstoy Streets, Tigran Mets Avenue, Vardashen, Vardanants, Vazgen Sargsyan, Sasuntsi Davit, Sayat-Nova, Pushkin, Charents, Vrtatsyan, Sofia Streets, and others, as well as 110 kV overhead lines such as “Vinil”, “Kauchuk”, “Daravay”, “Central 1” and “Central 2”.
The emergency recovery teams of Electric Networks of Armenia are working in an emergency mode to restore power supply to consumers in a timely manner.
