40 Dogs Poisoned in Armavir: No Criminal Proceedings Initiated
An extraordinary incident occurred in the Armavir region on April 17. Around 16:00, the Armavir division of the Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received information that approximately 40 dogs were poisoned in the area of School No. 4 on Jivanu Street in Armavir city, and foam was pouring from their mouths.
According to Shamshyan.com, police officers from the Armavir division, led by Senior Community Police Officer Khoshbekyan, determined that on April 16, around 40 stray dogs in Armavir city had been poisoned, resulting in the death of some of the dogs.
Documents have been prepared by the Armavir police regarding the incident, and they have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee's Armavir regional investigative department. Auroranews has contacted the Investigative Committee, where they informed us that no criminal proceedings have been initiated based on the report, as it does not meet the conditions stipulated in Article 173, Part 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code, and there are no grounds for initiating a criminal case.
The Armavir municipality stated in a conversation with Auroranews that they did not receive such an alarm.
