Threat to Kill Trump and Musk: Statement
The U.S. Department of Justice has released a statement announcing the arrest of a man in Pennsylvania who made threats to kill President Donald Trump. According to American authorities, the man was arrested in Butler, the same location where Thomas Crooks had fired a weapon and injured the former president during a rally last year.
This time, 32-year-old Sean Monper was apprehended. He faces charges for making threats against the U.S. president and several other officials. Reports indicate that on February 17, he stated, “There’s no need to think long; we should just start killing people—Trump, Elon, all the agency heads appointed by Trump, and everyone who is standing in the way.” He also called for an “American Revolution 2.0.”
On March 4, Monper posted a video on YouTube in which he stated, “I will kill him myself.” The video was titled “Live Stream: Trump’s Message to Congress.” At this moment, it remains unclear how serious Sean Monper’s threats against the U.S. president were.
