We Have Always Said That Nagorno-Karabakh Is Your Territory: German President to Aliyev
I hope we will soon witness the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier following a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
"Nagorno-Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan, and this is the direct and clear position of official Berlin. We have always said that it is your territory," he said.
It is noteworthy that the head of the German president’s office, Dörte Dinger, apologized to Azerbaijan for a post on President Steinmeier’s official social media page that featured a photo of the flag of the occupied Republic of Artsakh and comments regarding the people of Artsakh.
