Russia Developing Weapons in Space to Undermine Infrastructure, U.S. Intelligence Says
The U.S. intelligence community believes that Russia is developing anti-satellite weapons and other armaments aimed at weakening the space infrastructure of the United States and its allies. This is outlined in a report published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence regarding the threats facing the country.
“Russia is also developing new capabilities and anti-satellite weapons targeting the space infrastructure of the United States and its allies,” the document states.
