Six Family Members Poisoned by Carbon Monoxide
On March 18, an emergency incident occurred in the Syunik region. At approximately 00:25, the Kapan division of the Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received information that six family members were transported to the Kapan Medical Center diagnosed with "exogenous poisoning."
The officers who arrived at the hospital identified the poisoned individuals as 57-year-old Haikush H., 34-year-old Narine G., 36-year-old Marine G., 5-year-old S. Z., 3-year-old D. Z., and 45-year-old Martiros Z., all residents of the Syunik region. These individuals suffered from poisoning due to a carbon monoxide leak.
Authorities also determined that around 20:00 on March 18, the individuals' health had sharply deteriorated due to a carbon monoxide leak from a gas boiler installed in the kitchen of an apartment on Shahumyan Street. They were subsequently transported to the hospital, where they were diagnosed with "exogenous poisoning."
