It Is Important to Start Negotiations, Not to Question Kyiv's Willingness, Says Vance
US Vice President J.D. Vance met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Munich and stated that it is important to start negotiations regarding resolution, rather than questioning Kyiv's willingness to establish contact with Russian leadership. This was reported by РИА Новости.
"We want to achieve stable, long-term peace, rather than one that will last only a few years, after which there will be conflict in Europe again," said the American Vice President.
"I am thinking about how these conversations are going. A large number of delegates from Ukraine are here, our incredible Secretary of State Marco Rubio, General Kellogg. It is important for us to begin communication with the other side to initiate the discussions that need to take place to stop this," Vance stated.
"The end must be responsible," he emphasized.
