Relations with Iran Stem from Our Natural Interests, Says Pashinyan
Our government pursues a balanced foreign policy that does not imply or allow for a 'pro-relationship' approach in the realm of foreign affairs. This was stated by Nikol Pashinyan during an interview with Iranian state television.
“Armenia's foreign policy is based on and should be based on our country's national interests, and this is our common approach,” he said.
According to him, relations with Iran stem from our natural interests. “We are sensitive to the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Iran is also sensitive to our interests,” Pashinyan said in response to a question about safeguarding relations with Iran.
