Operational Headquarters Established to Address Consequences of Stepanavan Fire

An operational headquarters has been established to address the consequences of the fire that occurred in the Ashotaberd neighborhood of the Stepanavan community today, February 8. A meeting was held at the community administration where the decision was made to create this headquarters, which will be led by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan.

It was noted that 29 of the evacuated citizens have been accommodated in hotels, while 13 have found shelter in their relatives' homes. Among them, 6 are minors.

All families are being provided with food and necessary hygiene items, and medicines are available as needed.

Unfortunately, one person has lost their life due to the fire. Eight citizens sought medical assistance, three of whom were transferred to Yerevan, while one individual is receiving treatment at the Stepanavan medical center. The other citizens have received first aid and have since been discharged from the hospital.
