It Would Be a Very Bad Catastrophe: Israel and the U.S. Would Be 'Crazy', Says Araghchi
Israel and the United States would be 'crazy' if they attack Iran's nuclear facilities. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in an interview with Sky News, adding that such an action would be a 'very bad catastrophe' for the region.
It is noteworthy that this warning comes in Araghchi's first interview since U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration. The diplomat addressed discussions about whether Israel could strike Iran's nuclear sites with U.S. support.
'We have made it very clear that any attack on our nuclear facilities will receive an immediate and decisive response. But I do not think they will commit such madness. This is truly madness. And it would lead to a very bad catastrophe for the entire region,' said Araghchi.
