Azerbaijan's President Aliyev: Armenia's Desire Will Remain in Front of Their Eyes
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has spoken about Azerbaijan's connection through Iranian territory, noting that if Armenia does not provide a route, they will resort to alternative options that are both time-consuming and costly.
“An agreement has been reached with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the construction of an automobile bridge bypassing Armenia is already underway, which will likely be completed this year. The second bridge will be constructed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The first bridge is being built in the Zangilan region. Thus, Armenia will continue to remain a country in a deadlock, and their desire to become a transit country will remain in front of their eyes. They will ultimately lose more than we do,” Aliyev stated.
