Death Toll from Fire in Turkish Hotel Exceeds 70
The death toll from a powerful fire that broke out in a hotel in Turkey has exceeded 70. This was reported by РИА Новости.
The information was disclosed to the media by the country's authorities. It is noted that the current death toll stands at 76.
Recall that a fire occurred in one of the hotels at the Bolu Kartalkaya ski resort in Turkey. Initial reports indicated that 6 people had died, and 30 were injured.
At the time of the fire, there were 234 residents in the hotel. Preliminary data suggest that the fire broke out around 3:00 AM local time in the roof of the seven-storey hotel and quickly spread throughout the entire building.
