Trump's Team to Make Decisions Regarding Iran
The administration of newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump believes it is necessary to make 'decisions regarding Iran' within the next month. This was stated by Mike Waltz, Trump’s future advisor on national security, in an interview with CBS News.
According to Waltz, Iran is currently weakened and in an 'unfavorable situation due to the leadership of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.'
'Everyone said that the elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah would be too escalatory, too provocative, that it couldn't be done. And you know what? They did it (Israeli authorities). And it led to a real possibility in Lebanon. This led to the fall of Assad and his brutal dictatorship. It isolated Hamas completely,' Waltz stated.
