Zelensky Signs Decree on New Sanctions
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree on sanctions for the country's National Security and Defense Council. He announced this on his Telegram channel. The decree blocks the activities of individuals working for Russia.
“We continue to deprive individuals of state awards as well. Only those who truly dedicate their lives to Ukraine deserve the title of Hero of Ukraine,” Zelensky stated.
Additionally, he announced the imposition of new sanctions against the Russian Federation. It should be noted that in December of last year, Zelensky confirmed the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council regarding sanctions against Russian enterprises and research centers that, in Kyiv’s view, are involved in the development and production of drones.
The decree signed by Zelensky mentions 57 individuals and 52 legal entities.
