Putin and Pezeshkian Sign Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian have signed an agreement on comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
The signing of the document took place during the Iranian president's visit to Russia. The agreement envisions the completion of the North-South International Transport Corridor (NSTC) and an increase in trade volumes.
Tehran and Moscow, within the framework of the new agreement, intend to cooperate in the production, transmission, and export of energy. The transfer of new technologies in the field of renewable energy is also planned.
Additionally, the strategic agreement between Russia and Iran will simplify travel conditions for tourists and create joint cultural programs.
