Presence of Other Forces in the Region Creates Problems: Pezeškiān to Putin
The presence of external forces in the region can only destabilize the situation. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeškiān during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
"The Supreme Leader of Iran and I believe that our regional issues should be resolved only through agreements among regional countries," said the Iranian President. He emphasized that bilateral relations with Russia are of strategic importance and comprehensive in nature. The Iranian side is determined to continue close dialogue.
It is worth noting that as a result of the negotiations, Putin and Pezeškiān will sign a treaty on comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran.
