Certainly a Quite Concerning Element: Peskov
The agreement on a century-long partnership between Great Britain and Ukraine does not guarantee Kyiv's membership in NATO. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.
"Although, of course, considering that Britain is a NATO member, its military infrastructure's advance towards our borders is certainly quite a concerning element. But in any case, we just need to analyze what will happen," said the press secretary of the President of Russia.
It should be noted that earlier the British government announced that the United Kingdom would explore elements of defense infrastructure in Ukraine, including options for deploying military bases as part of the 'century-long partnership' agreement with Ukraine.
